In conjunction with Reliant Park Houston Series of Dog Shows in Houston, Texas

If you have interest in obtaining education on any AKC breed, all the breeds in one group each year will be presented at the Dog Judges Association of America Advanced Institute in Houston.

The seminars are all parent club approved and the presenters are parent club mentors, or most often, the Judges Education Committee Chair.  The information included is always breed specific and stresses the essence of each breed.  The seminars are not entry level, but are aimed at experienced, knowledgeable dog judges.

Secondary to the correct and complete educational material, the Houston World Series of Dog Shows is 5 days of very large entry dog shows aloong with many specialties.  Many majors and many opportunities for ringside mentoring and in-ring observation will be available.

The frosting on the cake is the DJAA Annual Meeting to be held on Friday evening.  This meeting is for members only (membership is confirmed at the door – and reservations are required).  The meeting is always Really Short…an Open Bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres are offered to those in attendance…a good chance to eat, drink, visit and relax after an intense few days.

DJAA looks forward to continuing educational opportunities by hosting the Toy Group in 2026.
